Cadillac prices 2014 CTS

Cadillac prices 2014 CTS

Cadillac has announced pricing for its all-new 2014 CTS. The new CTS, which debuted earlier this year at the New York auto show, will arrive in dealer showrooms this fall.

Reflecting its new up-scale positioning, the 2014 Cadillac CTS will list from $46,025 (including a $925 destination charge), or about $7,000 more than the outgoing model.

The 2014 CTS – which is longer, lower and lighter than the 2013 model – will be offered in three trim levels: Luxury, Performance and Premium. The standard CTS will come equipped with a 272 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, with a naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 standing as the lone engine upgrade. The 2014 CTS can be had with either rear- of all-wheel drive.

For those interested in a little more performance, the CTS Vsport model – which comes with a 420 horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 – can be had for $59,995. Available in rear-wheel drive only, the CTS Vsport also features an electronic limited slip differential and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

“CTS has always been Cadillac’s centerpiece, and as our brand expands and elevates the car properly grows to its true place” said David Leone, CTS executive chief engineer. “With last year’s addition of the award-winning ATS compact luxury sedan, CTS will directly challenge the luxury midsize competition with uncompromised performance, luxury and technology.”

Look for the 2014 Cadillac CTS to go head-to-head with vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series later this year.
