Maserati Khamsin Visits Jay Leno

Maserati Khamsin Visits Jay Leno

One of the better looking Seventies sports cars, this particular 1975 Maserati Khamsin has been maintained in original condition for almost 40 years.

Penned by legendary Italian designer Marcello Gandini, famed for his work on the Lamborghini Miura and Countach while working for Bertone, the Maserati Khamsin may not be as well remembered as those Raging Bulls, but it still oozes sophistication. It comes with a 4.9-liter quad-cam V8 and this particular 1975 European-spec model that visited Leno’s Garage remains in unrestored condition. Maserati was still owned by Citroen when the Khamsin was built so the grand tourer features many of the French carmaker’s innovative hydraulic creations to help make driving so effortless.

This is a classic in every sense of the word, and the Denim Chin loves every minute with the sports car named after a hot Mediterranean wind. Check the video to see why.
